internal · pick one · 2026.05.16 v2

V1 was editorial poor journalist. Scrapped. V2 is pure tech-forward sans systems across all three options. Heavy monospace, live data, system labels. Same content slice on each, only the visual system changes.

01 / option a

Precision tech

Vercel · Linear · Anduril · Tinybird

Off-white base, pure black ink, sharp vermilion accent. Geist + Geist Mono everywhere. System status bar at top, live data card in hero. Reads as serious infrastructure a PE operating partner takes seriously.

02 / option b

Tokyo SaaS

LayerX · SmartHR · freee · Sansan

Bold Inter everywhere, Japanese-only sublabel under the logo, indigo premise band, vermilion accents per section. Real katakana in micro-labels (オービス, 伴走, 三つの形). Most explicitly Japanese tech aesthetic.

03 / option c

Operating system dark

Modal · Cursor · Cognition · Anduril dark

True near-black base, agentic electric-green signal, live terminal card showing real Orbis fleet status. Geist + Geist Mono, subtle JP labels per section. Feels like watching agents run in real time.

What changed from V1

Dropped all serifs (Fraunces, Didot, Instrument Serif). Replaced with pure tech-forward sans systems (Geist, Inter at bold weights). Heavy monospace usage for system labels, prices, data displays. Replaced magazine-style section numbers with terminal-style labels. Added live data and system status elements. Japanese influence now channeled through bold geometric sans (LayerX / SmartHR aesthetic) and subtle JP-only sublabels rather than editorial restraint.
